frees us from the myth of perfection.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Toyota should build trust by opening up everything in its repair database&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; kills taboos.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;People coming out of the closet solves the problem of homophobia and bigotry&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; grants immorality (or at least fame and credit).<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; enables wisdom of our crowd.\u00c2\u00a0 Cites Twitter&#8217;s ability to predict box offices.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;We as a people know a lot of stuff.\u00c2\u00a0 if we had that from each other, we&#8217;re stealing from each other.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Not to share our health data will be seen as selfish and asocial.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;I want to go on a plane and have everybody tweet what they&#8217;re paying for their seets.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; organizes us.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Cue Clay Shirky.\u00c2\u00a0 I quote him at least once every conference.\u00c2\u00a0 As Marc says, it&#8217;s a political economy.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; protects us.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;I don&#8217;t have a problem with body scanners.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve talked about my penis online.\u00c2\u00a0 I have one.\u00c2\u00a0 So what?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8230; creates value.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;When the government of Germany tells Google Street View not to take pictures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Jeff&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/commentisfree\/2010\/mar\/29\/internet-censorship-cyberspace-bill-of-rights\">Cyberspace Bill of Rights<\/a> appeared in the Guardian in March.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s interesting to compare-and-contrast with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/breaking-news\/ci_15326665\">Social Network Users&#8217;
